10SI alternators are easy to work on and plentiful. Being cheap doesnt hurt either! For your cheapest option go to a salvage yard and buy a 10 SI for 10 - 20 $ the stop buy your local alternator shop .
This regulator will start your alternator at 6 - 800 rpms
