I like pinot, too, and you have some great pinot in Washington! Ah, chardonnay gets a bad wrap - over years I've learned to fall in love with great chardonnays, mainly old world (French Burgundy, for example). Balance of minerality and oak, that's the key. Butterbomb chardonnay makes me want to gag! :)

I usually drink California or Oregon Pinot Noir. Never seen good in Washington., but I guess I just avoid wine from WA
