🌳Just another reason to fall in love with New Zealand!🌳
Our first stop was Brancott Estate. Marlborough is a relatively new wine region, having only kicked things off in the 1970's, and Brancott Estate was responsible to creating Marlborough's very first Sauvignon Blanc. It has gone on to become one the most iconic brands in New Zealand. The winery is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill, so if you're not up for the hike up (the parking lot is at the bottom), wait for their shuttle to come and pick you up.
Cloudy Bay Vineyards was another one we loved. I've been to a lot of Cellar Doors, and this was definitely one of the most inviting!
If you're ever in New Zealand, make an effort to spend a couple of days here and enjoy the beauty of the region. I'm already trying to figure out when we'll be going back next!
Have you been to Marlborough? Tell me about your favourite wineries there!
Thanks for reading.

Wow, what could be better than drinking wine and looking at scenery like that? If I ever go I think I'll have someone else do the driving though, so I can do more of the tasting.
Everything looks so clean and crisp there too, the sky really blue. I went to the south Island but was on a short trip so unfortunately missed this region, next time though!

New Zealand is such an incredible country, that is on my bucket list for a long time now. Your post made me feel a little closer, but I still want to see it with my own eyes :) That photo of you in front of vineyards...nice! And the view from the winery... top! Actually, it reminds me a little of Slovenia. We visited few places there and wineries. Also reviewd it on our blog if you are interested to check it out.

I guess in this country every view is worth stopping. For now, my darling and I are on our travels around Asia and I really hope that we could afford one road trip along NZ. Kia ora!
Looking nyc place
Interesting. I've never been to NZ but know some ppl who have and even some who live there. I never saw it as a big producer of wine actually. Do you know if the produce a lot compared to, lets say Spain or France?
