* Top things to do in McLaren Vale *
When talking about top things to do in McLaren Vale, surprise surprise I'm going to suggest visiting some of their 80 cellar doors and doing some wine tasting! The region has been making wine for almost 200 years so yes, it's definitely on the 'must do' list. You could walk (or bike) the Shiraz trail (McLaren Vale to Willunga) or do the McLaren Vale Cheese & Wine trail that takes you on a picnic hop through some wineries of the region. Or if you're more of a DIYer, just rent a car and drive until you find a tasting room. Trust me, it won't take you long!
The region also has some great farmer's markets, a booming art scene, and some quaint historic towns. You'll definitely want to check out Strathalbyn - it has some great antique shops!
Beaches you'll want to check out are Aldinga Beach (definitely a fave!), Port Noarlunga, Port Willunga, and Sellicks Beach. And if nude beaches are your thing, head to Maslin Beach. Clothing is optional ;)
What were some wineries we loved?!

Ahh I'm so jealous that you lived there! We lived in Glenelg and loved it, but would definitely live near McLaren Vale next time.

great.
Awesome pictures! I love beaches and wine, so it sounds like the perfect location. Were the beaches quite empty of people? I can't see any other people in the pictures other than you two :)
