Man, that looks like a blast. I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to extreme temperatures, so I would likely spend most of the day next to that wood stove, but of course I would have to try my hand at knocking tennis balls into ice holes, lol.

You're not alone! Last year was the only year I finished the whole 18 holes. This year we did the back 9 and called it good. The high was 33 degrees this day so it wasn't really too bad to be honest. But a warm fire (indoors), good company along with a nice chair and some food and it added all up to the perfect scenario.
I remember reading some of your cold weather stories :) Luckily this day wasn't too bad.
The thing is where I live there are no outdoor social events in the winter. Since half of the winter days tend to be in the 40s or 50s, we don't get prepared with big fur-lined parkas and winter gear, so when it does actually drop below freezing, it is too cold for us to go outside for long. Instead, everybody stays home and stoically deals with their seasonal depression, or they go to the bar and get wasted to warm up.
I almost spit out my drink when I read this. Seriously lol'd. It's funny cause it's true.
