I agree, this is a strong possibility. Is it bad? Not at all. Out of sight, out of mind. It relegates the ninjamined stake to the status of red herring, where it should have been since the last bear market.
The stake has always been there... and it's not abused like other ninja mined stake from whales ( aka flagging bullshit). They use it for more beneficial purposes than any other whales I've seen use their ninja mined.
Who's ninja mined STEEM? Steemit inc? How so? They don't control anything. Their delegations influence who can get more rewards though. They don't even vote on witnesses... As for other people who ninja mine, yes, there is so much corruption in how they use it.
