"When you start to believe that you are the unluckiest person in the world, you stop trying to perform better."

Have you seen the movie "Dumb and Dumber?" In the end of the movie our two heroes (or stupid friends) get an opportunity to travel on a bus packed with beautiful ladies to give them sun-oil and massage their bodies. But, both our guys are so filled with self-pity (and of course, they are stupid), so instead of seeing the opportunity when offered, they just let the bus drive away and sends the needy passengers away.

Did you know that when you feel unlucky and consider yourself to be unlucky, you might actually miss out on those lucky opportunities that come your way. Why is that? It is because you don't expect them to come, and because you don't believe they will come. This is like walking with your eyes almost closed, because you will not see the things around you in the way they should be seen.

So, instead of proclaiming and saying that you are the unluckiest person in the world, why don't you turn it all around and start to say that you are lucky and that luck is following you. The world will change and you will suddenly see opportunities and possibilities that you never seen before.
