Entertainment comes in different forms. To some people, it all ends with travelling to choice locations while some others start theirs with the array of songs and thrilling video contents. It all boils down to the fact that what sails the boat of another may sink the ship of another. But, with over 405 of the global population routing for one athletic club or the other, it’s clear that the sports industry has a higher stake in the scheme of things when it comes to entertainment.
Despite the rapid growth of the industry up to 400%, if care is not taken, the current challenges in the industry might be the last straw to break the camel’s back. As absurd as it may sound, the current atmosphere in the global sports industry is only favourable to a select few that cash in on that to sink the fortunes of the others.
What Could be the Challenges
Agents play a leading role in the problems ravaging the sports industry. Ideally, they have higher percentages in the transfer of athletes. That is not unconnected to their mediatory role in the affair.
The fans are the other participants in the global sports industry. Unfortunately, they do not exert much influence on the transfer of athletes from one club to the other.
The athletes, especially the budding talents, on their part, do not have better chances at getting transferred to better clubs. That is because the established and famous athletes are given more preference over them.
Finally, clubs find it hard to choose the best athletes, especially with the apparent inability to ascertain their skills and market value.
The WITH Platform’s Ecosystem
As a characteristic of every blockchain project, the WITH platform has an ecosystem where all these participants can unite. By the formulation on blockchain and the unique features presented by WITH, the challenges as mentioned above witnessed by these stakeholders would be a thing of the past.
By these formulations and re-designation of the global sports industry on the WITH blockchain, both the amateur and the professional athletes would have fair chances of being picked up by clubs. The clubs take it up from there via having a direct assessment of each of the prospective athlete's skills and market value, which would help them in making an informed decision.
On the other hand, agents’ fees would be dramatically reduced because the communication line has been set up on a peer format. Nevertheless, they can still solicit opportunities for clubs and athletes from time to time.
Interestingly, the WITH platform opened up opportunities for fans to have better opportunities in the decentralized sports industry it established. In that instance, the fans can now take up the job of curating contents for publication on the ecosystem and the Decentralized Applications (DApps). Such materials help the clubs to make an informed decision, especially in accessing the market value of the athletes.

Blockchain has dramatically changed the world for good. The impacts on many sectors of the economy, such as the inputs on the Project WITH platform are much needed at this time that the sports industry is engraved in many problems.
It’s expected that the blockchain community, and indeed the global sports industry would see the different sides to this project, and incorporate it for maximum productivity of the world of sports.
