Sounds like such an epic trip, I'm sure it will go smoothly I'm not great with languages myself but generally while travelling you can always find someone who can either translate or pretty much work out what you want using a translation app. I had to laugh at your misfortune in the UK - sorry to hear that we don't deliberately try and poison visitors - but you can actually get battered and fried Cadbury Cream eggs for easter this year 🐣
