Thank you for stopping by @upheaver. I admit to being a technophobe with little understanding of the technology and only just grasping the principles of crypto currencies. I like this platform because I am a writer - not always of heavy stuff, but what I enjoy and what's in my head, heart and kitchen and I would like to monetise that. As important, though, is the sense of community that I've found as I've begun to connect with likeminded folk.
So, perhaps where I'm going is to ask that sometimes you guys spare a thought for the mid-50s woman who's not a computer geek and can't follow the technospeak and doesn't care about the minutiae, but would like the platform to work well.
I am struggling to recover from Hardfork20 - no mana - or very little. It gets used up quickly. I cannot spend all my time here - life gets in the way, so I am really looking forward to improvements that benefit red fish in minnows.
Hopping over to vote for you as a witness and look forward to new developments.
Your work on Steemit and the blockchain is much appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you for your vote!
One of my goals as a witness is to build applications for Steem that focus on user experience and are accessible to anyone despite their technical knowledge. So I will absolutely keep you in mind! Thanks
You are welcome.
Thank you, too, for the votes and the resteems.
I did pick up your focus on user experience as I was reading your bits - for me, very refreshing, so I look forward to those developments. FYI, I was/am a WordPress blogger and now publish via that platform to Steemit. That's very klunky, though, because you can't change the default tags - not for love nor money. Ha! I use that platform because, although I could, I don't really want to learn markdown. I'm tech savvy enough to build and manage a Wordpress blog/site - I've done a couple- and Google sites and also manage the back-end of a website, which reinforces the point about minutiae. Ok, I have to stop now so that my RCs can recharge. Appreciate the reply and also lookforward to how things unfold.
Have a good evening/day - I am off to one of my other happy places: the kitchen!
