As "bad" as openledger is, you have an alternative in the bitshares ecosystem. It's called Rudex. Even less liquidity, but nevertheless you can get in and out if one of them fail. The problem with little liquidity is lack of patience in my view, wherein lies opportunities for us with patience.
Use the service you like. But be fair when judging.
I did not say that is bad in general but as far as steem is concerned. If you limit yourself to BTS and more liquid markets then it's ok. But my experience with openledger & steem was a big disappointment.
