#17 - @Clayop

Clayop is one of Steemit’s most active posters, with over 3000 followers across both the Korean and English languages Steemit communities.

An ambassador for the Korean community, Clayop has actively attempted to promote ideas to help with solving abuse, including an interesting idea with merit involving self-moderating subcommunities he called “villages”. It remains to be seen if the future communities update to Steemit will roll in any of the ideas he has suggested.

Could it be any clearer? Just kidding, the post itself makes total sense.

Clayop has also posted about DPOS (delegated proof of stake, for example Steem) and whether or not it is feasible for the average user to intelligently manage 30 witness votes. In this post, he touched upon Dunbar’s number, the idea that a human can comfortably maintain only about 150 relationships across the various spheres of life. His thoughts have important implications on the structure of witness voting, and may explain why we see a relatively low rate of witness vote enfranchisement, with only a little more than 20% of stake casting votes for witnesses.

Clayop also posts regular witness updates, and updates on the status of the Ethereum network and other important crypto-related information.

Unfortunately for me, most of Clayop’s posts are in Korean, so I am unable to adequately credit his work for the KR community, but rest assured that based on his posting history, it is substantial.

I'm sure this is very eloquent.

Clayop is also an active witness for the Muse blockchain.

You know I have to agree with him on that one,. There are so many variables involved in picking the right witnesses!

Tell me about it...

After all, I had to write like...50 articles...to try and scratch the surface on this topic.

I'm currently rethinking how I will manage my 30 witness votes responsibly. I currently only use 13 of them and I don't really have the time to evaluate any more right now. I'm currently toying with dividing up my witness votes into categories I feel are important and then look for witnesses that fill those spots. There's also a few community projects that I might offer a witness vote or two to. I do have a monthly recurring task to review all my witness votes.

Hmm yes yes, I understand that graph. Its like arrows pointing to circles andd..

But seriously though. Good to know not all witnesses are english! I may going to try to put his posts in google translate :)

" I may going to try to put his posts in google translate :)"

I shudder to think what my posts would come out like if you put them through English > Korean.

Haha if it sounds bad, you will never know ;)

I guess not.

Unless I'm taken over by Korea?

They could force me to work in the news mines:
