This is the eighth report of the translation activity conducted in collaboration with @utopian-io (you can find the previous week HERE).
It was a quiet week, with only few translation. The drop in activity is probably due to the summer holidays, but this was something that we expected. In the coming days, we will be reviewing the old and all the new applications (the recruiting window opens from August 24th-29th). From next week we will probably add new translators and we may form new teams. On a particular note, the arabic team is one of the most prolific teams and we decided to expand it, we will need more translators for the arabic language and we are looking also for a second LM for the team. We also want emphatise that despite the average translations post decline, that we're happy with all of You! Keep going!

In the first chart, there is overall average score assigned per week.
In the second chart, there is average time taken to review a translation. Calculated between the date and time of publication of the post and the comment left by the LM. It is not intended as time spent in the review, but only after how long the post is reviewed.

Just wondering what's the actual status of the french team. i'm a french native speaker and i'm ready to send out my application as a LM or Translator. but i can't seem to find nowhere you guys speaks about the french language. is it not under your radar or what?
