To fork or not to fork; that is the question // An adaptation from Hamlet

in #witness5 years ago

To fork, or not to fork, that is question:

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous stakeweight Or to take arms against a sea of forced swaps and witness votes and by opposing them end Steem. To fork - to change chains, Steem No more; and by a fork to say we end The heartache and the thousand natural shocks that the ninja mined stake makes us heir to; tis a consummation to be Witnessed.

Devoutly to be wish'd. To fork, to code; to leave, perchance to grow; aye, there's the rub:
For in that fork of chain what dreams may come,
when we have shuffled off this lengthy chronicle and these heavy bags, Must give us pause. There's the respect that makes calamity of so tall a programatically sold stack.

For who would bear the whips and scorns of downvotes, th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's self aggrandizement, the pangs of shitposts earning more than hard work, the payouts' 7-day delay, the criminality of Ned, and the spurns that patient merit of th'bag holder takes, When he himself know indulging in his own upvote be forbidden and the community development fund pledged to noble foundation and SPS may be pilfered again by future conmen.

With a fat stop loss? Who would bear these heavy bags? To grunt and sweat under a weary life without exchange pairs, But that the dread of lonliness after fork, The undiscovere'd country, from whose birth no whaleshares traveler returns, puzzles the will, And makes us rather bear those bags we have than fly to new chains that we know not of?

Thus conscience does make cowards of us all, and thus the native hue of resolution is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thoughts, And enterprises of great code and moment with this regard their current turn awry and lose the name of action.

Or does the precognition of many more a'bearish year under the steady march of loathsome Steemit stake off to murder eager bids at exchange for narry an upgrade pose a threat more gruesome than a novel chain.

To fork or not to fork. That is the question...

Eagerly looking forward to March 6th as the condition of my labor appears heavily tied to the trustless intention of the Sun.

This is so badass, thanks for this one. Much needed these days.... 🍻

I find this man so disturbing

Between the line, we start to see a trend for a chain split that might happen. The real intention of Tron is the user base of Steem blockchain to move toward Tron and grow their activity.

We have worked so hard to build this place!

And they said that degree wouldn’t ever be worth anything. In their face! 🤓😂

Hahahaah i thought hes considering hard fork in case the agreement with justin doesnt end up as something we will benefit from.

Very well written sir! I eagerly await the after effects of what the meeting will have in store for all of us...

I'd have gone to a different scene:
Alas, poor Ned! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath borne me on his back a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it.....
Where be your gibes now? Your gambols? Your songs? Your flashes of merriment that were wont to set the table on a roar?

You just earned a big fat RESTEEM my friend... Can't wait to find out the awnser to the question.. Kind regards...
