Yeah the numbers are big. But the top also have a lot of running cost due to the many blocks to sign and backup nodes they have running.
Oh so there is a cost to it what are the running cost you mentioned?

Sorry too many questions from what I read from other posts basically they have personal computers they are running 24hours like a server for hive to be able to run smoothly do my explanation summaries it or I'm totally wrong?
All the activity on the chain gets bundled in blocks which are signed by the witnesses. A backup node is basically a copy of a witness which can be used in case the main node has issues or need updating etc. And in terms of cost, indeed running a server costs :)
