Vote for Gridcoin representatives as witness!

in #witness7 years ago

For my followers and readers on Steemit I advise to support representatives of Gridcoin community as witnesses.

  1. Tim, a biomedical engineer, scientist and developer from New Zealand, you can read more in his post@dutch

To vote, visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses and add gridcoin.science to the box at the bottom of the page, click vote, and authorise using your Active Key.

You can read more in his post here2 @sc-steemit

I have also 30 votes left, so you can suggest whom do you think it would be wise to support

Me! Just got to know gridcoin, bought a few thousands, and most importantly, am crunching World Community Grid for the gridcoin team :-)

Good that you bought few thousands! I think it's right time to do it, as the price will rise (at least I think so)
Just voted for you, I was already following you on Steemit

Thanks!
On another note, staking this coin really is a "patience test" lol...
I'm waiting for next week to sell my staking rewards from another coin to buy more gridcoin. I don't think anything below 5K gridcoin counts for staking

I heard 2000 GRC can be enough for staking.
I also plan to sell some tokens in future and get more GRC.
Which token do you stake if not a secret?

Currently i stake SYNX, PURE, DeepOnions and ReddCoin ( as well as GRC of course). SYNX and PURE i also run masternodes. The Pure masternode is the most profitable one.

From all the mentioned I had DeepOnions, somehow got 2 from airdrops, at that time Onion was $1-2 and I sold it))
They distribute Onions from airdrops - interesting model of distribution
For others I might take a look in future

Could you please double-check? I don't see you in my voters list...

Just did it again, strange but I didn't see you among those whom I voted for, but I remember for sure that I voted) Sometimes Steemit has similar bugs, i.e. sometimes comments are not posted from first time

I see it now. This happened to me as well...

I think I'm already voting for @sc-steemit, (will check) but I didn't know @dutch is also a witness. Will add him today.

Cool & thanks for sharing/reminding us :-)

Make sure you vote for @gridcoin.science As Dutch said in post, he is putting @gridcoin.science as witness

Ahh, OK.
I already voted for Dutch, I'm not sure how to revoke the vote.
I think I have just one more left to vote so I will go and vote for @gridcoin.science and worry about taking back Dutch vote some other time ;-)

Edit: done, and @Dutch didn't even get/accept vote earlier, which makes sense if it is not available as witness :-)

So if person is not running for witness the vote doesn't count?Great! Let's hope @gridcoin.science will win!

It looks that way to me, vote on @dutch was not spent.

Voted for both! Although not sure my vote means a lot, as I'm a new guy here

Thank you for upvote of the post! So you already voted for Gridcoin-affiliated witnesses?

This might be the section in his post you are looking for:
"I am an active Steemit community member. My blog aims to represent, inform and progress the distributed compute communities surrounding Gridcoin and BOINC. These topics are close to my heart as a medical researcher, where my progress is often slowed by compute limitations. I aim to facilitate a cross-over between the Steemit community and the scientific community to the benefit of both."

You can find out a lot more about his motives here. He definitely has my vote as well :)

I will say it in brief: Community. Intellect. Development
All 3 are very important and are present both in Steemit and Gridcoin

Ok, I would say firstly read the posts of candidates if you didn't read them yet.
We can consider those posts as political program of the candidates)
Just in case you can ask them in their threads.
I will tell my motivation: Gridcoin is one of my favorite cryptos.
Because it's based not only on "mining" but mining process is making scientific computations.
Also all the people from Gridcoin community whom I saw here, on Bitcointalk forum are interesting to read, to observe, to speak with.
That's why my votes are for these candidates.

Great that my post was helpful! I didn't metioned BOINC because it was mentioned in the withnesses' posts. I also run SETI right now on 2 laptops
