They are indeed apple blossoms the cherry blossoms are one of my most favorite as I live in the DC area and we have a beautiful Festival in the spring. Cherry blossoms are everywhere. It is an absolute must visit the Tidal Basin where there are cherry trees that were donated by the Japanese many years ago. It is the most beautiful sight and if you remind me I will tell you when the dates are for the blooming
