Whaleshares(WLS) To STEEM - What's The Easiest Way?

I haven't made a post on whaleshares in 4 months and I actually kind of forgot about my account on there. I haven't earned much but before deciding on wether to stay or go all in on STEEM, I'd like to know the easiest way for me to "magically" get STEEM for the WLS I have.

  • Are there any magic tricks out there?

Whenever I have cashed out STEEM, I have sold my stake directly to users here, who've sent me the money through Paypal... But it doesn't feel likely that I'd be able to sell my WLS like that.

Also, I haven't decided yet, but using both platforms doesn't feel ideal, even though I know that I can rather easily just cross-promote my content. I might start using whaleshares again, or I might never touch it again. Only time will tell, but if there are easy ways to cash out, I might just stick with it and/or convert some of my rewards to STEEM instead of selling, quitting and forgetting.

  • How about you?

Are you using whaleshares? Have you cashed out? Was it easy? - If not, why haven't you tried whaleshares yet, and/or, why do you continue to hold WLS?

In all honesty, I don't even know what it's worth, or where I should look to get a good idea... I have about 250 wls sitting in my wallet right now, and I'm powering down the remaining ~3K.

Unrelated to this, has @asapers gone into limbo? I’ve still got a delegation out to the account, but if it’s not even posting anymore maybe it’s time to pull the plug.

Oh, yeah. The asapers haven't been active in a long time. Still curating but the project is pretty much dead besides that. Pull the plug. New things are coming up shortly.

@lordbutterfly should be able to help as hes somewhat more active on whaleshares.

I think there is a tool that crosposts steem post to whaleshares as well.

Thank you! :)

It's quite easy, but you have to know how :) I will drop a post about it later as that was on my to do list anyway after another person asked the same thing last week...

Thank you very much. I appreciate it! :)

Welcome, couldn't show the first steps as I didn't have any liquid wls in my wallet but I figured that's not going to be a problem :)

Shouldn't be a problem but feel free to update your tutorial. I've just sent you some wls. :)

Wow, you shouldn't have, but thank you. I will update it later... Probably tonight or tomorrow. :)

No worries at all. I'm just glad you were able to come up with a tutorial so quickly. :)

I have been looking into the same issue.
@anouk.nox can probably tell you more about this

Yeah I can do that after I have some coffee :) Someone asked the same thing a few days ago.. might as well make a post about it :)

Thank you very much! :)

You can use "steem2wls" tool to crosspost.
Its your decision as to what to do but right now you can have much higher returns on whaleshares then Steem.
If i were you i would stick with whaleshares especially now that you get a lot of inflation. Inflation is going down fast and when it does you wont be able to earn nearly as much.

You can trade wls easily on rudex. Takes about 2 mins in total.

Thank you. I appreciate the comment. Seems like Crossposting is basically the only option I have, if I want to use both whaleshares and Steem. Might change my mind regarding crossposts, but right now, I don't feel really comfortable doing that.

When I heard about it I decided against joining because I felt we should stick to one and 'commit' to its growth.

It's steem or burst for me

Yeah, I hear you. I can relate to those feelings or thoughts as well. As we're allowed to crosspost from Steem to WLS, I can't see any real harm with using both though. However, I don't feel 100% comfortable doing that myself.

Barely have enough time to do everything I do in Steem so cannot imagine trying to be on multiple platforms consistently. Maybe a good idea to mo the others to Steem.

I feel the same way. Crossposts would obviously make everything easier, but it would somehow feel like "cheating", to me personally. I mean, I wouldn't mind earning rewards for crossposts, as it doesn't involve much time, but I would on the other hand, not feel 100% comfortable with it as I would pretty much ignore other stuff due to lack time. For instance, comments & replies. I wouldn't be able to dedicate myself two both platforms.
