I am feminist.
Together with fighting for the cause, I'll bring to attention,
exceptional achievements of brilliant women.
This time I'll mention Clara Barton,
the founder of the American Red Cross, in 1881.
She was born in Massachusetts and dedicated her life to help others.
Besides being a teacher, "Barton remained an activist for human rights as well as the woman’s suffrage movement, giving lectures until her last years". (from https://wanderwomenproject.com/women/clara-barton/)
