Stan up for your rights and don't be afraid! If our ancestors were afraid we wouldn't have the right to vote yet!

On the International Women's Day, a protest event was held at the main square in Zagreb, the name of the protes was - 'Cashier wants to go to the sea'. That's also the name of Croatian movie in which cashier doesn't have money to go to the sea. The women made clear demands for the promotion of workers rights.

Women once again talked about their rights and the position of women who, because of the fear of existence, must be silent about their poor workplace affairs, and they asked the rulers to take measures that should improve their rights, our rights.
Even in 21st century, we are paid less than men for the same job we do.

They made it clear that it was enough and that women were three times burdened.
Emancipation has brought us even more work - we take care of children, we do the housework, and at the same time, we are expected to make money, have a great job and look fabulous all the time. The irony is even bigger because our partners, our husbands in some cases complain that we do not make enough money. Well, if they pay us for the performance and the jobs that we do every day, we would be richer than you, a lot!

Sorry dear man, I know it is not easy for you because you don't know anymore what do we want. You are not sure whether to hold the door for us or to grab a beer from the fridge and burp, whether to hold the coat or tell us to change the bulb :)) (But that's another subject, I will for sure wright about men problems in this all girl power situation because it's not easy for them eighter)
It is a definitely new situation for us all, but we have to discuss and arrange some things differently. It is not about the gender but the desire for work and progress. We can only make a progress if we stop dividing jobs, if we stop paying less for the same job, if employees stop asking women will they have children, and do they have children, and if our men finally realise these children are their children as much as our own.
I sometimes have my personal struggle but we are making some progress there :)) Sometimes he cleans the house while I watch Champions league :)) Kidinng my macho @olegw!

Anyway, even in the 21st-century women's rights, in many areas of life, are still a cause of a struggle.
At least we have a chance to express our feelings (that's what men like the most), and we can do it in public. That's something. In my opinion, even on Steemit we have a more 'male' thing, but I see a lot of potential! Girl power!!!

Sort:

we must continue fighting for our rights, every day women gain more spaces in our society. We have a duty to continue fighting for the generations of the future.

Thank you for pointing it out so clearly! It is definitely our druty!

Of course, thank you very much @fajri26!

I don't think that banning women from voting is simply men wanting power for themselves and being chauvinists. There was a strong anti-suffragist movement which was composed only of women.

There are huge problems with democracy to even begin with, one of them is that the majority counts, so theoretically kids could vote to have candy and chips for every meal if they wanted to if they were allowed to vote. There is a problem of responsibility in democracy - people, in general, are not that great in understanding politics, philosophy, economy - but women are even worse and understanding those is kinda implicit in being able to vote. Women are more prone to being "emotional" and don't think that politics and running the society should be based on emotions but in principles and that's where women fail miserably (most of them).

Women voting is good for people who want large government(like the Worker's Front :D) because they vote left wing, if you are man you want more money for yourself and if you are a married woman you want more money for your man and those two groups(men and married women) tend to vote conservative. And don't get me wrong it's not me being a "bigot" - there is a clear research showing that women are not interested in politics at all.

And wage gap is a myth, if you do a multivariable analysis there is practically no wage gap. What people do is sum how much men make and how much women make and compare that and you don't have to be a genius to see that comparisn is flawed.
