CABINET MAKER X #68 Oak door and Window Part 3

in #woodworking6 years ago (edited)

Hi DTube Woodwork Fans,

Welcome back to part three of the oak door and side window.

Today I am finishing the door frame moulding on the curved arch.

I have to do this part with carving chisels and a special tool that I have made for the job.

I have set up a time lapse to show the process.

There was a hidden split in one of the pieces and it came away when I started carving but it was a clean break so I was able to glue it straight back on.

I highly recommend that you make DTube videos to show us any woodworking projects you are working on.

If you have any technical questions give me a shout on the woodworking discord channel.

Brilliant man! I can't believe you are doing that by hand and not using a motorized tool of sorts. Awesome!

Thanks man, yeah this bit had to be done by hand because of the shape. I did the rest with power tools though.

You are welcome!! That is cool that you use a mix of power tools and hand tools. Awesome!

nic work well done,sir
