Steiner is interesting. I do not think Hall, reading Pike is intentionally hypnotic. Stained glass, choir singing in a cruciform structure (Bianural sounds), certain frame rates per second, stroboscopic lights.......All things the Rosicrucians know well. All mystery schools do not "rely" on this technique, per se. A shocking event to remove one from that would be more effective, as would a "non-gesture." There has been a real struggle over who can best hypnotize the general population for the entire 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, but I believe that has come to an end in the late 20th century. The human psyche is well-rested. Wakie-wakey eggs and bakey!

I think the veil is thinning recently, not that I buy into the whole "Coming of Quetzalcoatl" but the way PKD writes about us being trapped in a time loop for so very long, and people gradually breaking out, seems convincing to me. The fact that the church is losing its stranglehold might mean we are being choked out even more by state actors (corporations), but it might also mean that the stranglehold can be broken and humankind will be free from bondage. BTW, you might like Alfred Korzybski is you have not read his theories yet. He was the premier linguist of his time, even though that was long ago in terms of linguistic studies, very influential, either way.

I believe there is some strange encryption code behind linguistics or maybe there is some sort of natural group dynamic phenomena in languages and linguistics. I always wonder how all this ethnic groups and language separations came along. It is kind of confusing why it didn't mingle together into one language meanwhile? Languages and linguistics are heavily connect to identification. It Mainly was the study of words that brought me into this waters.
In German we have what's called the "Hexeneinmaleins". Some independent researchers think it can be used to transform one language into another language. Numerology and words is very fascinating. Word magic is a very big part of the matrix system I'd say.
