Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Welcome to another wonderful episode on THE WORD FOR TODAY. First I must sincerely apologize for not updating this series for the last two days… no good reason to justify that but here we are and I hope we learn from this!!
I am well aware that the first thing this scripture points us to is the Love of God from vs.4-5. Something new caught my attention here. And that’s; we really don’t know who we are. Study vs.5-8 and see all the authority God has place in us to execute. The earth was made for man not vice-versa.
A prince might be in His fathers’ house and still behave like a slave unless he knows who he is. You can have $1,000,000 cheque in your hands and still go around begging unless you know what you carry in your hands. We have been given authority over EVERYTHING HERE so stop acting like a second fiddle and take control over your surroundings/environment. Peace!!
Till next Time
Keep steeming
Stay blessed
@jemimah.
for the reason that you yourself said, the God creator of everything and Lord of all, shows his love and mercy for us, in that he has given us authority!Amen @jemimah! I like this chapter of the psalms a lot.
Certainly. knowing who we are in God is essential. It's the greatest power we can ever have. Knowing our position in God. More Grace @jemimah
