Last month I decided to take an extended "Leave of Absence" from my job due to "Personal Matters"
Those personal matters were simply me wanting to "Focus on Bitcoin" instead of working at my shit job!
I made this decision after I stashed 5k into my bank, and due to some miraculous alt-coin moves and the bitcoin explosion, this gave me an estimated 15k in bitcoins.
I also purchased 200 oz of silver, and invested 4k into fidelity where I purchased some of the worst stocks you could think of!
- Female Viagra
- Marijuana stocks
(I'm a bitcoin fanatic, investing in stocks is very boring to me. People want 10% in an entire year!? I want 10% per day!)
Anyways, I decided I had enough spare money to attempt to make myself rich trading bitcoins while also enjoying my extra time this summer.
This last month has been fantastic to say the least, and I have bitcoin to credit for this amazing opportunity
- I made a lot more money than I would have by working
- I have been able to do what I want without worrying about money
But the best part about not working this last month is that I got to spend all this extra time with my 1 year old daughter!
This extra time I had was something you can't buy and is essentially "Priceless"
She grows so fast and I feel like I miss so much by being gone 10hrs a day at work. It really sucks when you think about it. She will never be 1 again...
I can't buy that time back!
So I have enjoyed and cherished this short break from working even though I had hopped it would have been a permanent solution...
But, at this point, the writing is on the wall.
- upcoming bitcoin fork
- altcoin crashing
- Ico market drying up
And more honestly, these last 2 weeks I have been struggling to make profits on trading. (I assume everyone is feeling this)
So I have been required to cash out more and more bitcoins to keep my standard of living, which has also taken a nice jump since the bitcoin rally and loads of free cash thrown around...
The last thing I want to do is to completely drain my bitcoin!
I also see bitcoin being very volatile these next few months and I don't see myself making anymore "Mad Profits" until the markets show me otherwise.
So, I have decided to end my "Leave of Absence" and go back to work...
I also paid in full for fall semester university in which I will be attending in a little over 1 month from now. So I would also like to stack up some extra cash for that! (Hopefully bitcoin rallies again so I can re-evaluate the situation again and be able to just focus on college)

Smart move! Cash out and go to work, make more fiat to throw back into the bitcoin pot! Rinse, repeat! Then take that leave of absence again in January, before the craziness starts again!
I'm trying to not cash out. Ha, but hopefully I can have that "permanent" leave in January!
I told a friend in June that all I needed was one more big bull run like we just had in order to retire from working at a job. This alt crash put those plans on hold until probably 2018 lol.

I'm holding off on genesis for the moment, with bitcoin decline and eth decline plus network increases. I don't find the contracts attractive right now.

Really sad to hear that you have to return to work due to the fact of the current market status.

It's not sad... well kind of... but I think it's the smart thing to do at this moment in time instead of selling bitcoins I truly believe will be worth 10k a piece in the next few years
