In the reasons for demotivation in companies has come into play a latest work trend called mobbing, or better psychological harassment. One of the definitions states that it is "all unwanted conduct" that threatens the dignity of a person and creates "an intimidating, humiliating or offensive environment" at work.

It is precisely in the workplace where the true dimension of workplace harassment lies, which reaches from the sociological and psychological, but also legal point of view. The false belief that aggression and violence (not law) solve problems, makes the strongest and most powerful use moral harassment to impose their criteria.
The typical harassment beliefs are: intimidating, intimidating and emotionally and intellectually exhausting the victim by provoking verbal fights, rumors, denunciations or traps that question the honesty, ethics and professionalism of the victim, and that make them appear before others as a danger to the good running of the company.

What distinguishes mobbing is the repeated, intentional and conscious form that harms the other person. Apart from that with the harassment physical aggressions could appear, as well as alterations of psychosomatic order: headaches, lumbago, gastritis, hypertension, and alterations of the memory caused by the attention deficit, the insomnia or the anxiety.

As it is a premeditated strategy with the purpose of annulling his victim, the moral harassment in the groups in the work groups is a true psychological torture. This type of collective harassment usually appears in some public offices where employees are obliged to participate as silent accomplices of the transgressions, with signs of delinquent posters that make latent or real threats to the neutral ones. The fear of losing employment is the basis of this problem.

The legal system has been busy defining the concept of harassment, which has been developed more in European countries, especially in Spain. There are already resolutions of the European Parliament on moral harassment in the workplace, which warns, in addition to the danger that false accusations of moral harassment can become a terrible instrument of labor revenge. The role of the experts, says this norm, should be to discard the simulation, the delirium and the existence of disorders in the perception of reality, leaving the burden of proof in the accreditation of the repeated existence of real behavior and do not simulate and do not simulate harassment and stress.

There are countries where they investigate this phenomenon in order to follow up and audit the cases reported by the victims.
