Ha, you probably are thinking about a bunch of different things right now. Maybe something like - watch TV, cook, clean up, play Candy Crush, read books...
Yes, I do all that too sometimes. But most recently, I've been busy looking into how to get back into the workforce after being away due to maternity leave and child care for quite a while. I could write an entire post about what kind of networking events to go to, what kind of people to seek out and so on, but this post is about how I started doing something I really like doing and making it my Work from Home Job!
I love finding new baby/toddler accessories and I probably spend too much money on "finding the right fit" for whatever is currently needed. I will also admit, I love handmade and personalized items. I once saw the cutest pacifier holder on a baby and couldn't find it anywhere online. So, coming from a very creative and artsy family, with most of them being graphic designers, knitters, painters and photographers, I decided to look into making my own pacifier and toy holders for my son.
With the help of the knitters in the family, and youtube videos, I started to make my own and soon, many local moms were asking me where I got it from. And so my little business started and I began making pacifier holders during my sons nap. If you're looking for a cute gift for someone for their Baby Shower, or just for their child, feel free to take a look at my work and get in touch with me.
