This was one of the most interesting interviews I've done
Ron Miscavige, former Scientologist and father of the cult's leader David Miscavige, joined me to talk about how he escaped the Church of Scientology and the internal workings of the Sea Org, which is Scientology's leadership organization

Very interesting interview. I hope you have other former Scientologists on your show especially now that Scientology has its own TV show now. What are the chances of you getting David Miscavige on your show to offer a counter argument to this interview?
I think the chances of David Miscavige agreeing to an interview are close to zero, sadly, although I'd be glad to interview him.
I've heard Ron explain his story a couple times before, but it's still absolutely fascinating. It's definitely a cult.
Oh, absolutely and without a doubt
I was very surprised to hear what he had to say about the initial "courses" of Scientology being actually useful. I don't think I'd ever considered that, but there has to be something about Scientology to attract people to the organisation and keep them initially.
By the way, Ron's website (as mentioned in the interview) is https://www.therealronmiscavige.com/
Yeah that was an interesting moment
A really interesting interview and wonderful talk enters the heart
You are a wonderful person
It is truly an interesting interview. Well done
yes my friend. this is a interesting interview.my friend you all support you and your post don't warry and dont mind.
Interesting interview on Ron Miscavige. The first time I've heard of his side of the story was on A&E's show, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. First season, I think. I don't know Scientology in its entirety, but I have my own personal experiences since my ex was a Scientologist. Without going into too much personal detail, I will tell you one thing. Disconnection is real. VERY REAL. I'll tell you why.
I was raised in a traditional Catholic household and still practicing my religion. At the time w/ my ex, he knew that I was a Catholic and he told me "Oh you don't need to convert. You can be a Catholic AND a Scientologist." I was shocked and told him that there's no way you can practice 2 religions. Long story short, I told him I don't want to convert. He got upset. His family got upset. His Scientology church also got upset. I was told to not google Scientology due to "bad PR". I did it anyway cuz I was curious. Lo and behold, I read a lot of negative comments about Scientology. Rather than my ex defending me, he told his family, which in return told the Org (the Scientology Church) because days after, I overheard my ex on the phone w/ one of the Auditors telling my ex that he should "disconnect me because I'm a SP" (suppressive person). He didn't listen and continued to be with me at the time and he kept getting harrassed by his Church. His family has disconnected w/ one of the relatives, only because she refused to accept Scientology. It was so bad that when this relative passed away, his family didn't attend the funeral because they're not allowed to communicate w/ anyone close to the disconnected person.
Anyway, I just felt sharing my personal experience since I watched your interview with Ron. I just hope that someday, he'll be able to rekindle his relationship with his son. But from the looks of it, I don't think it'll happen anytime soon :( . Great interview! Keep it up! Upvoted and following
