Favourites to win the 2018 World Cup
Spain
Spain began the tournament as outside favourites to win the competition, but they have since overtaken other contenders, with dabblebet now considering them favourites at 17/4 to lift the trophy on June 15. The 2010 world champions Spain are not the same Furia Roja that dominated international football from 2008 to 2012, but, with players such as Sergio Ramos, Diego Costa and Andres Iniesta at their disposal, they remain one of the most fearsome teams in the world.
Brazil
Five-time champions Brazil had been installed as favourites after matchday one, but Neymar and Co. have slipped behind Spain at 9/2 after failing to impress sufficiently in the opening two games against Switzerland and Costa Rica. Tite's men are in a tight group and face a crunch clash against Serbia as they look to secure their place in the knockout round.
Germany
Reigning champions Germany took a hit following their shock defeat to Mexico in their opening match and have subsequently seen their odds lengthen to 15/2, but a win. Joachim Low's side, which still features a host of stars from the 2014 triumph, will now aim to win their last game in Group F against South Korea to reach the last 16.
France
As well as Brazil, Germany and Spain, France are among the favourites to win the competition 20 years after their first and only triumph. It is not surprising to see Les Bleus so highly rated (8/1) considering that Didier Deschamps has an impressive pool of talent to draw from, which includes the likes of Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann.
