Argentina's goalkeep is a mess after losing Romero to injury before the cup started then benching Caballero after the awful gaffe versus Croatia so a penalty shootout could favor France, however Messi had a beautiful goal versus Nigeria and they have enough talent on the field to succeed in regular time. Good defense and midfield play might be the difference in this game.

I'm not sure about the goalkeeper, Caballero made a lot of mistakes but even before that everyone in the media kept asking for Armani, like Armani is the best of the squad so they might actually be stronger than before.
And yeah, Messi scored a goal, but that's far from being what everyone expected from him, and all France really needs is to play a solid game to walk over Argentina, because on paper the french squad is way stronger, just that the low age of the squad shows up when they are playing, basically this game is for France to lose if they make mistakes, if they play to their potential they should win it.
Biggest complaint people have against France is that with the quality of their squad they should have won their matches more clearly and with more goals, on the other hand Argentina is being criticized for about everything, even off the pitch where there are rumours Sampaoli became a puppet and just does what the players say.
