Prize pot now over 500 SBD
Thanks to all bidders and supporters of this contest. We managed to secure over 500 SBD in prize money already - below the current round 2 standing where you can bid still for around 4 days. To be fair enough some teams in the current round have no chance to be one of the Top 3 team of World Cup 2018 but you still can bid for them as donation more or less.
In addition you will also see the leaderboard of the finished team auctions - so the guys that own teams since round 1.

Details on prize allocation:
First Place (World Champion): 30% of the pot (150 SBD if total pot is 500 SBD)
Second Place: 15% of the pot (75 SBD if total pot is 500 SBD)
Third Place: 5% of the pot (25 SBD if total pot is5400 SBD)
The other 50% of the total basket will be paid to Charity!
The charities we support are @papilloncharity from South Africa and @steemarity from Austria. Also the winning Steemians can feel free to donate their amount to a charity – but that is not a requirement.

There are opinions that Vladimir Putin bought this World Cup 2018, so the results of matches are suspiciously «unpredictable», and the Russian team will be the Champion...
