Salman Al-Faraj at minute 45 and Salem Al-Dawsari at minute 90 gave Saudi Arabia a much needed win, which allows the team to leave the world cup with one victory and some honour. On the other hand, no other than Salah gave Egypt a tie at minute 22 that was anought to give some faith to the Pharaos but it wasn´t enough to give their fans a smile and a feeling of satisfaction on this world cup.

Egipto es la mejor prueba de que este es un deporte de equipo, no importa si tienes a un jugador de la talla de Mohamed Salah, si tu equipo no te respalda con una base de buen fútbol de conjunto, poco podrás hacer en este hermoso deporte, a pesar de que Egipto jugo mejor, al final los partidos se ganan con goles.
Salman Al-Faraj al minuto 45 del primer tiempo y Salem Al-Dawsari al minuto 90 del partido fueron los anotadores del equipo Saudi, que cierra con una digna victoria su participación en esta copa del mundo. Del otro lado quien mas si no Mohamed Salah al minuto 22 adelanto a los egipcios para ilusionar a los aficionados con una victoria de clausura, sin embargo el juego de Egipto.
URUGUAY 3 - 0 RUSSIA

The Russian national team had its first real test against a proper team and the result was as every analyst expected, a Russian loss by more than 2 goals. Three goals allowed the Russian team which puts Uruguay at the top of the group with 9 points and puts the Russian team whre its supposed to be, in a respectable 2nd place with 6 points. Russia doesn´t really have a great style or level but thanks to their local status they have been motivated enough to advance to the knockout stage, but truth to be told the Russian defense got completely wiped out by the Charrua offense. More bad news for Russia, Igor Smolnikov will miss the next match due to getting a red card on this game.
Uruguay found the solidity and strength needed to be able to win the first knockout match and they are one of the safe bets to at least reach the semi final stage of the cup; Uruguay is ready to play against any team, Luis Suarez is their main star and he is almost the central axis of this offense scoring a goal, added to an own goal by Denis Cherysev and a score by Edinson Cavani Uruguay gave us one of the best matches of this round.

La selección de Rusia tuvo su primer prueba importante en el torneo, y el resultado fue el esperado, una derrota por tres goles contra Uruguay que ubica a la selección rusa en donde debe de estar, siendo una selección que en realidad no juega un gran fútbol y que gracias a la motivación de la localia es que lograron trascender de la etapa de grupos, sin embargo Rusia genero llegadas pero la defensa Uruguaya es de las mas solidas de este mundial y no pudieron abrir el marcador. Sumado a que Igor Smolnikov se pierde el siguiente partido por expulsión.
Uruguay encuentra solidez en su juego conforme avanzan los partidos y promete mucho para la siguiente ronda de este mundial y cerro con broche de oro la primer ronda del torneo y esta listo para cualquier rival que le toque en los octavos de final, Luis Suarez es el gran líder de este conjunto y cada vez se vuelve el eje central inamovible de esta selección sudamericanas, Luis Suarez, un autogol de Denis Cherysev y Edinson Cavani completaron la goleada.

IRAN 1 - 1 PORTUGAL

A thrilling game where Iran could qualify if they won which made them play one of their best games in the last few years, where they even managed to play at Portugal´s level, who was also putting on the line their classification to the next round who, if won could advance as first place of the group. It all started perfect for the Europeans with a great play by Ronaldo and Quaresma who scored one of the best goals of the competition so far.
But it didn´t end there because Ronaldo had the chance to slay the Iranians but he failed a penatly shoot out, but the goalkeeper guessed correctly the direction of Ronaldo´s kick and stopped it easily, the game was still 1 - 0. The football connoisseurs know that if you miss a clear goal you will receive one soon enough and it happened, with the help of the VAR technology Iran got a penatly in favor, that Karim Ansarifard took care of. With this result the Asians got eliminated from the tournament but they can leave with their chin up, because in a group against Spain and Portugal, they got 4 points.

Un partido muy emocionante en donde Iran se jugaba la clasificación a la siguiente ronda y en el cual logro competirle de tu a tu a la selección Portuguesa, que tenia en sus manos avanzar como primer lugar de el grupo B. Todo empezó bien para los lusitanos con una gran combinación entre Cristiano Ronaldo y Ricardo Quaresma que acabo con un gol de parte externa al angulo izquierdo del portero.
La cosa no paraba ahí, si no que Cristiano Ronaldo tuvo la oportunidad de asegurar la victoria por la vía penal, pero el portero adivino bien el disparo y lo detuvo con facilidad, y bien dicen que gol fallado es gol en contra, al minuto 95 le marcaron un penal a la selección de Iran con ayuda del VAR, oportunidad que supo a provechar Karim Ansarifard. Al final con este resultado los asiáticos quedaron eliminados del torneo.
SPAIN 2- 2 MOROCCO

Its not news for us on this world cup that Spain manages to complicate every game they play. It was until the minute 90 that the Europeans managed to score a goal that tied the game and locked them into the next round. Khalid Boutaib opened the score for the Marrakesh, but quickly Isco tied the game for the Spaniards which, with this result clinched the second place of the group.
It was until minute 81 that Youssef En-Nesyri set off the alarms for the Spaniards, because with the 2 -1 score against Spain, they were mathematically out of the cup... but Iago Aspas with the help of the VAR tech scored a goal that seemed as if it was offside, but the tech managed to prove it was a fair and square goal. This goal not only gave Spain the spot for the knockout stage, but also the first place of the group, and with this they managed to avoid Uruguay in the Last 16 game to be played in a few days.

Como ya es costumbre en esta copa del mundo, la selección española volvió a sufrir para obtener puntos de este partido y fue hasta el minuto 90 que logro rescatar un punto del encuentro decisivo del grupo B, Khalid Boutaib abrio el marcador para los marroquies, pero rápidamente Isco empato para los españoles que con este resultado se mantenían en 2do lugar de grupo.
Fue al minuto 81 que Youssef En-Nesyri prendía las alarmas para los españoles que momentáneamente quedaban fuera de la copa del mundo, pero Iago Aspas y con ayuda del VAR, tecnología que ha sido utilizada regularmente en esta copa del mundo, marco un gol en el que parecía estar en fuera de lugar pero que al final se hizo valido y le dio a España no solo la clasificación, si no el primer lugar de grupo, situación que salio mejor para ellos pues evitaron enfrentarse con la selección de Uruguay en octavos de final.

Buen analisis. Equipos como Marruecos e Iran han demostrado que el futbol actual es mas competitivo de lo esperado. Son selecciones que junto con Peru, han quedado eliminadas, pero jugando muy bien.
Por ahora a esperar Uruguay vs Portugal, excelente partido de octavos
