It's really quite unfortunate I couldn't post this at the right time/day but we can't stop creating awareness on this topic, it's very important.

What's The World Hepatitis Day (WHD)?

The World Hepatitis Day usually takes place every 28th of July each year. This is to create awareness about one of the deadliest disease unknown to the masses. The World Health Organization (WHO) often create a single theme to raise awareness across the globe on how to prevent/curb the spread of the viral hepatitis and bring great changes to the world.

Meanwhile, for the 2020 theme... it's known as "HEPATITIS FREE FUTURE." According to WHO, "about 290 million people worldwide are living with the viral hepatitis unaware."

What's the Aim of WHD?

The major aim of selecting 28th July as the world Hepatitis Day is to create awareness and let people know about the viral disease to help prevent millions from suffering and lives bring lost as a result of the disease.

Why did they choose 28th of July for WHD?
This special day was selected in honor of the scientist who discovered hepatitis B virus - Dr Baruch Blumberg who was born on 28th July. He is a Nobel prize winner.
