Hey everyone, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant week and hope you have a day so far which has brought some interesting experiences into your life! Today it's time for me to share an experience with you which I made on my trip in Bucharest.
The capital of Romania Bucharest is known for its diverse culture and is not without reason referred to as a second Paris which is full of various architectural masterpieces. I enjoyed my time there very much and spent a total of five days there and think it was a perfect time to look at the most important things of the city, which definitely includes the parliament, which I decided to visit on the first day. The place connects different things with each other and everyone who is interested in art, politics or history will definitely get their entrance fee worth here and I was especially pleased that it was possible not only to visit it from the outside, but also to take a look inside and take a tour there. I was there a little earlier because I had oriented myself on the Internet according to the indicated times, but I still had to wait until 10 am to start the tour, which was no problem for me and I spent the waiting time visiting the National Opera and exploring the park in front of the parliament. A man had recommended me to reserve the visit in advance, but I experienced that this was not necessary and I could buy the ticket at the ticket shop inside the parliament without much trouble and of course there are certain security precautions and before I could start the tour, I had to go through a security check.
The employee of the parliament who led the tour spoke fluent English and was also very accommodating and explained the whole history as well as all other aspects that belong to the parliament very well and I felt very welcome. I can certainly imagine that during the high season it's much more visited and in this case I would also recommend to book in advance but as already mentioned, this is not necessary at this time. The tour lasted about an hour and the prices of the ticket vary depending on the age group and a more normal ticket for an adult costs about 60 ron which is really fair for all what is offered. The parliament building is known worldwide and is also considered one of the heaviest and most beautiful administration buildings in the world and also the sums invested in the construction amount to considerable sums. The former dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu (1918 - 1989) who had employed hundreds of different architects for the construction is considered to be built the parliament and at the time of construction there was probably a huge competition among the various architects who had ensured that many different influences flowed into the construction. The building looks luxurious and extremely magnificent both inside and outside and was in the past the venue for many important events that took place on a political level and also some rooms within the palace are rented out at regular intervals for events. It was a special experience for me to visit the parliament and since my experiences were very positive, I would recommend to every visitor of the city to go to the parliament which was built in the style of Neoclassicism and also to make a guided tour there.
Many thanks for the visit and I hope you could learn something new about this unique place! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens and iPhone 16.
Beautiful place! I loved seeing the interior design of this magnificent building! Thanks for sharing this architectural gem. Best regards 🤗
Glad to hear that we share this :)
That Palace, my friend, is truly a work of art. Furthermore, if we combine it with all the architecture present in the entire city, it must be a magical and incredible place to visit and do tourism.
Definitely, I also think it’s great that this important part of the culture can be visited.
The inside of that building looks so fancy. I'm a sucker for big chandeliers and tall windows actually. You too some really nice photos too, especially the one with the staircase. Bucharest is certainly a cool place
It motivates me very much to hear that you like my contribution and maybe I can even motivate you to visit the parliament one day :) Yes I had a really great time and was very surprised by Bucharest, it was much more beautiful than imagined and definitely an underestimated city.
definitely something I look forward to doing, visiting the parliament would be a great honor

Actually it is indeed a very nice palace, even the inside... It's good they allow tours in to explore it... It's also cool that you can rent rooms, imagine wedding at the parliament 😅
Theoretically I think it will be possible, but practically almost no one will do it because of the cost, it would be a wedding which would be associated with very high costs. It are mainly large corporations such as pharmaceutical companies or banks that rent this location.
The Parliament House is very beautiful and huge. Its architecture amazes me. The building where all the important decisions of the country are taken should be like this.
Good to know that you are also interested in it :)
The Parliament House is a very great building
It looks gigantic and fits with its name
That’s it indeed! So much work has been put into the construction and the diversity of the various architects comes into its own. Before I forget to mention it, thousands of other workera were also involved in the construction and it is deservedly one of the most magnificent government buildings :)
Wow, I didn't know that Bucharest had so much interesting architecture.
I once saw a picture of the Union of Romanian Architects building and at the time I didn't know what it was and that it's actually located in Bucharest.
It's an amazing example of combining old and modern architecture, which apparently they did quite a lot in Bucharest.
I’m glad you learned something new! If you love architecture, you will also enjoy Bucharest, it is rightly nicknamed little Paris.
Wow looking at the building, it actually looks so beautiful. It will be great to visit this place someday and explore around
I'm glad that I could motivate you to visit Bucharest :) I'm sure you will soon dear @consistency
