Steem is fresh, clean and rides on the enthusiasm of the community.
I can't remember a single good news for ethereum for the last quarter.
Just to remind you some of the worst: DAO hack, defeat of soft fork, arbitrary decission to hard fork, the ETH/ETC schizofreny
