Wrath of the Lich King - Sen'jin Village, Razor Hill and already in Orgrimmar?

With a day break in between and me going back to classic to tend my raiding duties I have returned to the time when the Lich King rained over Northrend. Of course we are still a long way from meeting him "in person" but we do move forward quite a bit in this next part.

A few things to be mentioned about my decisions in this next gameplay video. I decide to go for Razor Hill before doing quests in Sen'jin Village, this is due to there being a Warrior trainer in RH and me just having hit level 6 means I have new skills waiting for me (every two levels). While there we also pick up the secondary profession First Aid which is important for a warrior and his leveling journey, you'll be able to find out in the near future why that's the case when things start getting harder and we get more abilities that combined with first aid will save our butts a few times!

Even though I'm attempting to sort of Speed Run this I will also be attempting to level my professions, one of them will be mining simply for the extra gold it might give us by selling the materials on the auction house. Gold will definitely be needed as there are skills every two levels and for three different talents, although I do plan on going for protection as that will give me the advantage of queuing for dungeons from time to time to quickly do some quests there (although I will be limiting it to only doing one dungeon once and not queuing for random dungeons that provide bonus xp and loot), this because we don't want to skip on the gathering professions and stay behind too much. I haven't decided on my second profession yet but while leveling I was considering enchanting and attempted to save as many green items that I didn't need as possible with very limited bagspace. Weird how I haven't seen a single 6 slot bag space drop which are pretty common at the starting zones but guess that's just my luck when I'm recording and publishing these gameplays! Maybe I can beg someone in Orgrimmar for some gold. =P

Gameplay

Similar to last time I'll be dropping some comments with timestamps for those of you interested in what I'm doing at a certain point in the video and why. Let me know if you had done things differently or if you have any other questions about it. =)

02:28, here we start the quest Thwarting Kolkar Aggression and as soon as we start killing off a few mobs I realize that I may already be a bit on the low side of the leveling for this part. It should be doable but will need to be careful which instead costs me time on my "speed run". Luckily we run into a rogue also on that quest and we group together through a party to do it and he's a few levels above me and does way more damage than me so it gets done easily! Thanks Hirokii!

12:45, we get to Razor Hill while killing some mobs along the way and hand in and pick up a few quests and most importantly learn new abilities + first aid + mining and also don't forget to buy a mining pick or you won't be able to touch those ores. PS! I hear mining is a crypto enthusiasts favorite profession too. =)

16:56, we begin the easy quest Vanquish the Betrayers, this one is great and much prefered over going to Sen'jin and starting the quests there at this level. It also drops us a lot of Linen Cloth which is the requirement material to create bandages for your First Aid!

21:32, usually these Battered Chests are worthless but we get lucky with a really, really nice upgrade here even though it's a one-handed sword which means we have to level up the skill to use it. Since we're still quite low level though it means that won't take a lot of time and there won't be a lot of misses and dodges in the beginning. I will still be preferring the use of Axes in the long run due to Orcs having increased expertise with those weapons as their racial passive ability.

31:23, after going back to Razor Hill to hand in the above quest and pick up another one that's just east of RH we find our first Coppar Vein to mine! Woop woop! 30 seconds later I go ahead and pull way too many and attempt to run away from them and end up dying even though I had plenty of healing potions I could've used but didn't think about it at the time. Such noob! I should play more Diablo/Path of Exile to remember them healing potions ya'll! At 40:27 we actually die on purpose because the ressing at the spirit healer is way faster than running all the way back to RH. At this level (before 10) you don't get any resurrection sickness and no -75% stat debuff which I talked about in the last post so we can attempt to use it in our favor for now while it lasts! There's also another death a bit later on purpose which I do at a certain spot on the map knowing it will take me to a different Spirit Healer down south close to Sen'jin Village to skip all that running! 4d chess! This happens at 51:00 after finishing a quest by the sea, the reason I spam /sit is cause when you're sitting enemies have a 100% crit chance on you so it's just so I die faster.

Now we go ahead and do all those fun quests over there in Sen'jin Village at a comfortable level and get lucky with a new shield at 54:30! Other than that we also get some new gloves with +2 stamina and +2 strength but 1.05 levels off our level so we'll have to be patient with equipping those, but pretty lucky there nonetheless! And would you look at that! At 59:11 we get a one-handed Axe which is not a big improvement from our sword except a bit faster and 0.3 dps higher with the same +1 stamina stat. We'll take it!

After handing in all the finished quests (I always love the look of this when there's so many completed ones in a row and all that xp you gonna get from handing them in):

we take the Hearthstone back to Razor Hill and make our way north east to a quest we got. This one is unfortunately a bit too difficult for us at this time and the way I approach it @ 1:12:33 with a jump + charge to avoid fall damage may not be the smartest of ways but then again I'm a Warrior so that's my excuse!

I decide to resurrect at the spirit healer just outside of Orgrimmar to go and hand in a quest there and see what else we get and that's where today's video ends and the screenshot at the top is from. =)

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you to everyone who suddenly appeared and voted my recent post, I was truly surprised and amazed and am hoping to connect with more players and other world of warcraft players in the near future on this platform and enjoy our time here! Will be attempting to buy more Hive over time so my vote is worth a bit more but until then I'll be using the tipping function that @peakd makes so easy. Looking forward to connecting with you all! and as always: For the Horde!

PS. Using a few new tags in this post as recommended by @kaelci, thanks!

Thank you for the tip. :)

...one of them will be mining simply for the extra gold it might give us by selling the materials on the auction house.

That's usually my secret plan. 😆

Going to Razor Hill first was a good choice. Those Echo Isles off Sen'jin are horrible. My warrior was murdered there several times over, so was my priest, somehow my rogue did amazing though!

Haha yes, I even placed some in the AH today for the next gameplay post. So many deaths today, though, it was embarrassing. Might record two videos instead for the post so people forget about that part. =P
