Here is my test. It is 1:43pm.
How many words can I write in a minute?
1:45pm When i was young i recall that my father took me on a bike ride to a different province and we rode all the way there with maybe only one stop along the way that I recall. when we got there we probably went to someones house but i dont really recall much of that except that we went to an airshow and i remmber that there was a black stealth fighter and this was back in probably 1996 so it was still unheard of.

1:48pm So there we are on a hot summer day with the sun shining down on us and we are waiting for planes to fly overhead for the airshow but I am looking at this black stealth fighter jet sitting here on the hot cement and there is a ribbon style barrier and armed guards inside protecting the plane. Wow! What a sight to see!

1:50pm I have not been back to that airshow since but I am sure it happens every year. There are even airshows nearby but I don't always get the chance to go see, but on those days often we will hear the jets fly over the city towards the airport and if I were to go out there I would see the skilled pilots doing aeronautical somersaults and spins.

I can type fast, but if I mess make a mistake I have to go back and change it and then improve the text which is where I am losing time. Still I want to keep practicing each week and see how fast I can get my typing in one minute. How many can you write in just 60 seconds?
When you think about it, the Typewriter was a technological marvel. It was a miniaturized printing press, which as a keyboard has been reduced to inputs only. How simple and perfect is this device? No wifi or bluetooth, works if the power goes out. Doesn't cost $80 to refill the ink. Who is making real typewriters today? I am concerned that 400 years after the invention of the press, and 40 years after the invention of the personal printer, we are losing something important. Your thoughts?
