William Regal makes his way down to the ring. He thanks the fans for their support and promises a good show for tonight. He puts over the talent of NMCW, citing some of the best performers in the world. He acknowledges that quite a few have not been given the chance to shine, but tonight that will change. There will be three matches to determine a match for War Zone. This match at War Zone will be the "Ultimate Opportunity". Whoever wins that match, will get a contract for a title match of their choosing. The first of these matches will feature Finn Balor, Wolfgang, and Kota Ibushi. The second will feature T.J. Perkins, Magnus, and Clement Petiot. The third and final will have Matt Sydal going against Baron Corbin. In addition to this, Regal states there will be a contract signing with Cody Rhodes and Ken Shamrock

Match 1: Paige (w/ Conor McGregor) vs. Jade

Paige walks out with Conor. When they get to the ring Conor holds the ropes open to let Paige go under. She poses and shouts "This is my house!"

Jade makes her way down to the ring and gets ready for the match, doing a few stretches, etc.

Just before the two are about to start though...Santana Garrett's music hits and a quick look of anger crosses the face of Paige. As Santana Garrett comes down and sits beside the commentary team.

Looking a little distracted, Paige goes into a tie up with Jade. She then gets Jade into a roll up, but Jade kicks out at 1. The two go back into a tie up and chain wrestle for a good bit of time. The match as a whole is more technical. There are multiple near falls. All in all, the match is fairly back and forth until Santana leaves the commentary table area and climbs upon the apron. Paige and Garrett get into something of a shouting match when Jade takes advantage of the opportunity, getting a roll-up pin.

Winner: Jade via pinfall

Paige is beyond angry, as Santana runs to the backstage area. In an extreme act of rage, Paige hits the Ram-Paige on an unsuspecting Jade.

A vignette airs. While an alarm blares in the background, it shows a man running through the woods.
"Coming Soon to NMCW: Psych Ward"

Pete Dunne comes to the ring, Agon Championship over his shoulder. He talks about his time here in NMCW and talks about how no one has been his equal, therefore no one is worthy of his Agon Championship. This title was his before he even set foot in here and how he is the best in this company, willing to go to a length that no one else is.

Ambrose's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Ambrose says he came out here in the interest of protecting people's ears. Before Dunne can open his mouth, Ambrose tells Pete to shut the fuck up. (the crowd cheers) Ambrose goes on to say Dunne talks a big game, but words won't save him when he (Dean) is allowed to go full-Mox on his (Pete's) ass. Ambrose says he wishes he could get his hands on him right now but can't on account of Dunne's injury.

Match 2: Ultimate Opportunity Qualifier Match- Finn Balor vs. Wolfgang vs. Kota Ibushi

Kota and Finn look to incapacitate the bigger Wolfgang and take him out of the equation. They push him back into a corner, but he is able to escape, hitting a double clothesline. Wolfgang goes on a hellacious offensive, sending Kota to the corner, then whipping Finn into Ibushi and going right into a splash in the corner.
Kota and Finn once again team up on Wolfgang, double drop-kicking Wolfgang out of the ring. Finn and Kota hit a double suicide dive, just as Wolfgang is able to get up. The alliance between Kota and Finn is short-lived as the two turn on each other. Their offense is mostly on the outside of the ring, but while Wolfgang is incapacitated on the outside, Balor hits an overhead kick and goes immediately for the the "Coup de Grâce" and gets the pin.

Winner: Finn Balor via pinfall

The ring has been set up to be ready for the contract signing between Ken Shamrock and Cody Rhodes. William Regal is in the middle of the ring with a microphone. He says he has been beyond excited about the thought of War Zone and has been intrigued yet bothered at the actions of both men involved. Between Cody Rhodes targeting the head of a concussed man and Ken Shamrock trying to strangle Rhodes. He assures the crowd that their match at War Zone will be contained, as it will take place inside of a steel cage.

Ken Shamrock makes his entrance first. He has a look of steely determination about him. He doesn’t want to wait for War Zone. Regal tries to greet Ken, but he (Ken) says nothing.

Cody Rhodes comes out next with Brandi along with Stephen Amell. Cody looks incredibly carefree and the trio casually strolls down to the ring.

Rhodes talks about how pathetic Ken looked when he was beaten for the title the first time. Some broken, shell of a man who probably didn't even know where he was. And then he talks about a legacy, about the mark that Cody will not just leave on professional wrestling, but on the world. He goes on to refer to himself as "wrestling royalty" and how he has "blood that will never run through Shamrock's veins". With that, Cody picks up the pen and signs the contract.

After a quick smirk, Shamrock says, "Royal blood, huh?" then stabs Cody's hand with the pen before signing the contract in ink and blood.

Shamrock then body slams Rhodes through the table and holds the King of the Cage Championship belt over his head while the crowd cheers.

Matt Sydal is backstage, shadow-boxing and limbering up for his match. T.J. Perkins comes up to him. The two talk about the opportunity in their first matches in NMCW to be able to potentially have a title shot. T.J. is especially grateful for the opportunity, as there hasn't been much for Cruiserweights. The two then make a pact. That if either of them wins, they'll pick the other for their tag team partner, as they see that being the best way to go. And from there, CW-Octane is bourne. The two shake hands just before TJP leaves.

Match 3: Ultimate Opportunity Qualifier Match- Clement Petiot vs. T.J. Perkins vs. Magnus

Petiot and Perkins start on each other with Magnus taking the occasional cheap shot on both. Magnus doesn't really go out of his way to make his presence known, which the commentators take note of. They don't know if it's nerves or fear of failure, but Magnus definitely isn't Magnus. Perkins and Petiot are able to neutralize Magnus, tying him up in the ropes. Petiot takes the chance to insult Magnus. He and TJP get back to the task at hand. TJP throws high-flying offense, while Petiot focuses on his more grounded style. Having worked the leg of Petiot consistently throughout the match, Perkins is able to lock in his patented kneebar. After a struggle Petiot taps out...all while Magnus helplessly watches.

Winner: T.J. Perkins via submission

Another vignette airs. We are in a locker room. A man is alone with his thoughts. He is still seething and has begun pacing along the floor. Almost without provocation, he starts whaling on a locker and ends up breaking multiple mirrors. In the closing shot, we see his face...covered in blood.
"Next week....Rocky Rage comes to NMCW. If you know what's good for you...stay out of my way."

William Regal is backstage talking to Ronda Rousey. They are talking about the show so far and Regal is approached by Rockstar Spud. He asks Mr. Regal for an opportunity to prove himself and his wish is granted. He will be in the last qualifier match along with Baron Corbin and Matt Sydal.

Match 4: Akam (w/ Rezar & Jim Cornette) vs. Punisher Martinez

Punisher charges at Akam, but is quickly put down. For a brief time, Akam essentially plays with Martinez like a lion playing with a gazelle. Akam eventually picks up Martinez and does to him what Bane did to Batman in "The Dark Knight Rises". Punisher Martinez is left in the middle of the ring while medics attend to him.

Winner: Akam via incapacitation

Akam, Rezar, and Cornette are all celebrating the victory, but that doesn't last long as Chael Sonnen, Jake Hager, and Ethan Carter III appear on the tron. Chael sarcastically congratulates Akam, but assures them that their match at War Zone will have a much different outcome when his boys are holding the Brothers of the Sands Championship high.

Backstage we see General Manager Ronda Rousey. She is caught up to by Paige. Paige kindly asks if she might get a match with Santana Garrett at War Zone, citing everything Garrett has done to her as of late. Ronda appreciates the request and agrees. The match at War Zone is now official.

Match 5: Ultimate Opportunity Qualifier Match- Matt Sydal vs. Baron Corbin vs. Rockstar Spud

After a brief staredown, Baron charges for Spud, but Rockstar is able to duck out of the ring. Matt Sydal quickly hits an enziguiri on Corbin and gets a near fall. While Spud is watching outside, Sydal and Corbin are duking it out, showing a nice display of both hard hitting wrestling and technical prowess. Corbin is eventually able to hit a big clothesline on Sydal and instantly goes after Spud. Coming back in the hard way, Spud now finds himself the victim of an enziguiri from Sydal. Sydal goes for the pin, but surprisingly Spud kicks out at 2. Spud is able to hit an impressive dropkick on Sydal, who goes right into Corbin. Corbin runs to Spud, picks him up and hits a double End of Days, drags Spud out of the way and gets the pin on Matt Sydal.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall

After Corbin has left Matt Sydal is lamenting the huge opportunity that has been lost. He then angrily looks at Spud who is now looking rather afraid. In a snap judgement, Sydal hits the Here We Go Driver (Pump handle half nelson driver) on Spud, picks up a microphone and issues a challenge to now laid out Spud for a match at War Zone.

Match 6 (Main Event): Taeler Hendrix & Iveliesse vs. Naomi & Deonna Purrazzo

Taeler and Naomi start things off. Taeler taunts, but Naomi shrugs it off going for a collar and elbow tie up. Taeler though, is able to quickly get to the corner and tag in Iveliesse who immediately goes to work on Naomi. The two don't really engage they mostly just size each other up. Their offense is pretty back and forth, with all competitors getting their fair amount of time in the match. A good deal of taunting is done from Hendrix and Velez to their respective opponents. Taeler gets overconfident and goes a little too far with the taunting. Naomi gets Hendrix is a crucifix choke, to which Taeler quickly taps.

Naomi and Deonna Purrazzo via submission

Deonna and Naomi are celebrating in the ring whilst Hendrix and Velez argue with each other at ringside to close out the show.
