RE: Oopsi post

No worries.

So drafts stays in drafts normally. Drafts save themselves normally as drafts and do not post.

So the publish button must have been pressed when you thought you were simply saving.

A point of note: when you post in a community the post doesn't by default end up on your 'blog' tab on your page. (not sure which frontend you are using... peakd? or hive.blog? or ecency?).

I noticed you have a post in Hive Parents community yet it is not on your 'blog' tab - I'm assuming this is not deliberate - on Peakd frontend you can select which community you will place your post in but also there is a switch to allow you to post it directly in your blog - otherwise you can find your post later and click three dots for options for that post and you can click 'Add to Blog'.

Also in order to have the option to place your post in a community from peakd you must first be following that community.

It can be a little confusing for new comers this whole community thing - but you'll get there.

Also, if you want to have your content appear in different frontends (peakd and hive.blog are examples of different frontends) you can tag those frontends in your topics on your post.

In Hive there are various frontends with their own token which run on their own rewards system as a second layer above Hive. Not all communities have their own token.

Proof of brain (proofofbrain.io) and Vybrainium (vybranium.com) are two of these communities with tokens and their own frontends - you can place your content in these communities if you wish by tagging your posts in the topics with 'pob' and 'vyb'. Obviously don't make them your first tags in the topics - put tags relevant to the content first.

I hope this has helped you understand a bit.

Best of luck and good to see you on here,

Monty

ps. Little blog tip, try not to post text only posts - use a picture from pexels.com or somewhere else open source if you've got nothing else - always put your source when it is not your picture (otherwise it is plageurism). Utilize the formatting tools to add headings, links, bold and italic text etc to make your text look interesting.
