Dear Diary,
Today I had a hangover.
Yesterday started at 6:00 a.m. get up, go to school, four hours of teaching, well two hours cuz the first class we watched "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" because the semester is ending and it is killing me making it through it and I hate teaching English.
In the afternoon I blazed through as much of the mountainous paper work that the school requires of me at the end of every semester.
Then I left school and went to a hospital for a follow up visit for my corneal transplant operation.
Next, I jumped on a bus and went to a Graduation Dinner for one of my graduating classes at the uni I teach at here in Taiwan. It was tortuous, they were doing karaoke.
After the dinner I bought a half-pint of scotch and a one-glass bottle of wine.
I got home at 10:30 p.m.
I had the scotch first, on ice while listening to Bach's Magnificat.
Both were great, then I had the glass of wine and listened to some Handel.
The buzz was mellow.
My tolerance is down because I had to cut back on my drinking after my operation.
I paid for the wonderful buzz this morning, but I recovered by making some super strong ice-coffee.
