Tip1) how many words to write per chapter!
This problem is common with beginner writers. It, because can be too wordy (for example) writing 10000 or 20 thousand words for the first chapter, can really tire the reader out from reading your book or tired you out. making you feel; you have done a whole lot of work but only for one chapter and you get disappointed just because it takes way too long and way too much of your precious time. Well, no more it time to terminate that problem. For a short chapter write a thousand words, medium chapter write 3000 words, a long chapter write 5000 words; now to get the best result for this is always start your first chapter with thousand words, and your third chapter 5000 in words, doing the process will help you stay motivated you guys are having that feeling of completeness and also helping the reader to not get bored with your story.
Tip2) a scene per chapter
A scene helps you to know what your character will be doing and how is he doing that, but specifically for that chapter. (For example) if your book is the body, chapters are the skin, but what are the nerves that give the skin feeling it's the scene. so if you want to move your character in a different location or have your character to do something else but still want to stay on the same chapter use scenes. The Manimal is two scenes per chapter
Tip3) the outline
We talk about the skin and nerves of the book now it's time to get to the bones; the outline keeps the story moving forward; how give a great flow a storytelling from beginning, middle, and end, it also helps you to know how many chapters you want for your book and where your story is going so readers can stay more engaged.
(Bonus Tip)
I know life can be hard and busy at a time and you may feel where can I find the time to write: to help with this issue I say write for only 25 minutes or 1 hour on a regular day, 5 or 15 minutes on a busy day, one or two hours on a slow day. And take one day off to refresh your mind. Also, finish a chapter a month, there 12 months in a year so finishing a chapter a month you should have 12 chapters for your first book furthermore just have 12 chapters for your first book, in your first year of writing.
