Happiness is a state of mind... Thats it.
We can all be happy right now, in our given situation, with whatever we have, only if we let ourselves.
The source of happiness is within us.
We always associate happiness with some sort of goals. If I get that job, I will be happy. If he comes into my life, I will be happy. If I travel this place this year, I will be happy. But, once we achieve these 'goals', we are unhappy again, and start chasing happiness again, trying to find happiness.
I am just the same like you, looking for my happiness. But then, 2 years ago, I met someone who has helped me discovered law of attractions, meditation and it has really helped me put a lot of things into perspective.
I still have a long way to go, but I can confirm that I am happier today than I was yesterday.
Now I'm happier than 2 minutes ago :)
not in a very good mood , but now I definitely feel happy. :)
My happiness are gone since my son got autism, nothing can get him back. BTW if I'm meditating ... my bills are lining up in my mind !! love your post.
Thanks for that! Loved it. I was in burma in 2010 loved it. Glad I found you!
you were there long before it get popular, Thanks a lot ... Happy to connect here in steemit.
I loved it, was amazing. To this day have not seen any place like it. And the trip to Golden Rock was memorable, even tho I was sick i'm glad I made it, it was amazing, and I was alone! I often was the only tourist anywhere i was, and having to communicate with people who do not speak my language. People would touch me on the street and say "hello". Very friendly. I'll post about it some day!
Funny you should ask! I just read this quote from Dale Carnegie and think there is a lot of truth to it ; )
great quote and thanks for sharing. :)
impresionante foto! recomendado papu
thanks a lot, I love it too, it was one of the most memorable sunrise experience I would say.
Life is so much better when you go through it with a smile. I think it's best to find happiness with what we have already. Then when we get more in the future, we'll be more thankful and appreciative. It's all about the mindset. :D
Now i am happier, not a very good mood.
glad you decided to be happy. :)
thanks for this awesome post, i'm a happy man after reading this
I started to meditate around 3 years ago or so and I can only confirm what you said : I am a lot happier and more positive now as I was before.
To develop gratiude for what I have and not always focus what I dont have was probably the most important part for me
Happiness after safety and healthy is having 1000 bitcoins!!! :D

I guess happiness in some kind is not thinking about happiness:) True words you wrote about associating happiness with some goals, it's insane, that people think they will be happy from buying a new phone or a car, they price their own happiness so cheap! I started to look different on many things after spending a half month meditation course in Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, Nothern Thailand. Our teacher always used to say that our mind mostly lives in the future, thinking about where you want to go tomorrow or next week or next holiday, missing being happy here and now. That's what I've been trying to do since:) He called it " The power of Now". Very nice post, have a very happy day :)
Gratitude and self-love/self-acceptance are the key to happiness. Your beliefs are your sole limitations. Anything is possible. Thank you for sharing! :)
PS: If you are interested and have some spare time, I have some poetry on my blog too. :)
brought a smile to my face, happiness is finding the right partner to stay beside u, happiness is being in sync with ur soul, as for worldly things the happiness of achieving it last but a few seconds.
This is my take on happiness....
Pursuit of happiness can be subjective. The first person can just live their life being happy, second person needs a fancy car to be happy, third needs a beautiful wife or a rich and good looking husband. The fourth person wants a house, more house and another house with a pool. My advice, be the first person. Be content with life as it is precious.
I totally agree that happiness is a mindset, not some external condition. You can find it anywhere if you're looking and open to it.
