why is this a question at all? if a person decides to take his life then what can we do about it? society will impose its restrictions. some may find it offensive and others may think that it is alright but ultimately the individual is responsible. If being born was due to the action of two (nowadays even one) individual(s) then suicide can also be the action of one or more individuals. atleast it seems that way. if the law criminalizes suicide then the only problem for the person who attempts it is the result of failure is punishment. i dont know which is worse, a jail term or the failure to commit suicide
