I blame the rise of computers for the ever increasing "velocity" if life. Think about it, technology doubles in speed each leap. How can we possibly keep up with that? It is now being talked about if chose to do a degree in some form of technology, by the time you had finished your education your knowledge would already be out of date. Thus it feels like we are all running on a treadmill trying to keep up.
