It has indeed. We have had other incidents. An ancient man with a cane challenged my also ancient coworker to jump over the counter and "kick his ass" just the day before. I think all the hysteria lately has pushed people over the edge.
I have some degree of sympathy for that kid. I am sure his life is harder than most people's but he is becoming a danger to the rest of us. I'm sure he will end up in some kind of trouble that takes him way from here but it will be after something horrible has already happened.
It is good that you take this as an entertainment lol.
My Gawd, I feel sorry for the kid too but he is pretty scary. I just hope he won't cause any more harm.
