My greatest fear was when my Mom was down and my precious achievement is having a wonderful Mother.
Early last year, while I was preparing for school, I got a call from home concerning my Mom. I was told that she fell from a motorcycle, plus the motorcycle fell along with her thereby lying on her legs. She was hospitalized and that got me freaked out. I thought I was gonna lost my Mom because she was severely sick before the accident.
My heart could not beat stop beating fast that I could feel its pains. I was scared, gutless, freaked out and sad.
She was discharged from the hospital after a couple of days but my eyes were far from her. The distance between us became a curse as I could not just teleport to her location and kiss her feet. She is okay and healthy was the thing I listen to on phone whenever I call to check up on her.
I became the happiest on earth for she was fully healthy before I travelled down home.
Mother's day just passed away and I did nothing about it. Today is never too late because every day is mother's day to every true born.
This is for my Mom;
Out of all stars in the sky, I chose you
Not because you are the shiniest of all,
Not because you are the most beautiful of all,
Not because you are the brightest of all,
I chose you because you are the most wonderful amongst all.
All you have been known to do is to take responsibilities.
Is it the Nine(9) months saga that you endured,
The pains of letting me out of your womb,
The smile you wore on your face while gasping for recovery,
Or the blessings you granted my future?
You are indeed the most wonderful star amongst all.
You sacrificed your nights just to make sure I ain't crying,
Your days just to make sure I am giggling,
Your strength just to make sure I get fed,
You are indeed the most wonderful star amongst all.
I am who I am today because of you Mom
I grew up on the streets like the others but you made me special Mom
Some of my childhood friends are nowhere to be found, but I think they are gone,
You set the right path for me so that I won't do bomb.
You are indeed the most wonderful star amongst all.

Every kind of awareness is precious. But, being aware of mom's role and having gratitude for having mom is a starting point for all further awareness.
