I think this is a very important question, as the lens we subconsciously choose to view the world affects our behaviour.
For example, when the police investigated me, they did so through the lens of terrorism. Through this lens, everything about me was attached to terrorism; this, in my opinion, caused a grievous miscarriage of justice.
Some people view the world through a left versus right lens, or rich versus poor, etc.
These lens, are often binary, and attach this or that to objects and things, when in the real world things can be both or neither.
This single binary lens, "easy thinking", is the cause of most of the world's, if not all of the world's, maladies.
We need problem solving, not easy thinking, and easy doing. I believe humankind is in the early stages of Enlightenment 2.0
I think at first people didn't realise they were in the 21st century, and they continuously played liked it was the 90s except with continuously greater fax machines, but now its 2018 and people are realising it is not the 1990s anymore.
