When You Came and Left.

She used to drink coffee to keep her awake
Then you came and suddenly caffeine was out of her system
She used to set an alarm clock to wake her up in the morning
Then you came and she doesn't need one because she has been sleepless.

She used to wear make-up to make her cheeks blush
Then you came and there's no reason for her to wear any.
She used to take only minutes to choose what to wear
Then you came and minutes turn to hours of making herself look pretty

She used to consider all her friends' opinion and approval
Then you came making them seem like strangers
She used to follow and need her family's advice and support
Then you came and all of it became insignificant

Then you left...

She used to smile and laugh a lot
But you left and everyday tears filled her eyes
She used to be so confident and careless
But you left and she started doubting everything she does

She used to be alive and living life to the fullest
But you left and though she's breathing, she was lifeless
She used to be excited and all about love
But you left and her heart became hard as stone

She used to be herself
Then you came, and she has changed
But suddenly you left and she lost her identity
And no one knows how in the world she will find herself again.
