I have a knack for inspirational writing so I thought I'd have a crack at a topic close to home for a lot of us - cryptocurrency. Enjoy.
If it's one thing we dread on this Earth, it's that something will run up and take everything we've had and leave us more than 6-feet under with no legacy. In today's society, people are swept over and dusted under the couch without warning but for only one reason - they were simply trying to live. These are the homeless, the segregated, the religious and the everyday Joe, all rendered outcasts by just another one of us with a tighter suit and fancy hat.
Institutions
Governments
Authority
Dictators
People managing people - the most inhumane thing that humanity has done.
I can't help it but shout. The world I grew up in is beyond the capacity that have to speak but I can only peek so far over the wall until the loan sharks swarm. Society is just like the universe, it binds itself to itself like gravity, it denies innovation and encourages repetition, we want more of what we have rather than some of what we don't. Those who see green breed humanity's own hunger and slaughter those who try to step out of line. The governor is more concerned about his paycheck than the status of his own patriotism, let alone the advancement of his own species. Our employers dangle green papers in front of our faces to get us to perform their monkey business. And most atrociously, the governments treat us as pawns on an endless chess game.
At a very young age, I learnt about the tunnel vision we all have... And I set out to challenge it.
We are built to put our step forward in front of everyone else's and never to look behind our shoulders, but in doing so we drive ourselves into the dirt we so crave.
Life is for the one who takes the other path, who steps out of the line, and who leaves the rest of the world behind.
These are our true brothers...
And it could never be put in better words:
"What happens when you remove the need for permission? Exponential explosion of innovation." - Andreas Antonopoulos
This is where we are today. The fruit of a guy who will never be named brought us salvation. He gave birth to a system that incentivises innovation, the forefront of what it is to be human.
It is TODAY that we pioneer the leading-edge secure transaction technologies.
It is US who developed and run a financial system that allows us to be ourselves.
It is THEY who are left in the dark because their tunnel vision does not permit it.
It is a system irrespective of race, culture, religion, belief, age, sex, orientation, hair colour, heritage, nationality or passport.
It is a system where your belongings cannot be seized, frozen or destroyed.
It is a system that lets you act freely, making you unstoppable whilst eradicating censorship.
It is a system that makes us more human.
If it's one thing I've seen cryptocurrencies do, it's bring people together. It's just one of the many gifts we've lost in contemporary society as a result of the green in front of everyone's eyes. If we have to run the network, we have to communicate, collaborate. Our demographic allows us to seamlessly take advantage of our comradery to develop the most largest and fastest growing social and economic groups this world has seen. Let alone the most advanced technology. And the sweetest thing is that in order to access the technology, you have to be apart of the network - not just the currency, but the community.
One day we will reach a point where we can blow the rest of the world away with the next era of technological and economic advances. We will outpace the current system, we will give rise to our deepest imaginative desires, and most importantly, finally allow everyone to be free.
