Harmony awoke to the sound of clanking plates and the pleasant aroma of cooked breakfast coming from the kitchen. The winter sun was already streaming through an opening in the curtains in a compact round room in which Harmony slept.
She heard the voice of grandfather Hare, who was joking with grandmother and they were laughing joyfully.
Harmony stretched out touching the sides of the small bed in the small room. Time to get up to greet new day!
Joined them for breakfast, her uncle Hare came and his children twin girls Dixie and Lixie and their younger brother Dudsey. They did not sit still, constantly getting up from the table and running around, throwing food and generally creating a cheerful havoc. At first uncle tried to control them, but then realising it had no effect he gave up and just spoke with Harmony instead.
After breakfast everyone went for a walk. The young hares rolled over the snowy lawn. All three were fluffy, blue-eyed and always smiling, especially Dudsey.
- Does he even smile while sleeping? Harmony asked jokingly.
- Funny you might say this, Harmony, but he often laughs in his sleep, probably during a dream,- answered her uncle.
They all started throwing snowballs. Then Uncle pulled them along in a sledge. After that they together created Mr.Snowman who became alive once he received a carrot for a nose.
- Oh, hello there, - were his first words. I think I need to check my mail, if anyone can borrow a smartphone.
Everyone were surprised but didn't ask questions. Every living being has a right to catch up with e-mail and recent news especially if just being created.
