Hello @ogulaja
Years ago I was an instructor at a private college in Canada. The main people at this college defined the course requirements for an area in medical care called a Personal Support Worker. This organization is where people go to take the exams to become a CPSW (Certified Personal Support Worker). This position is recognized in Canada as well as in the United States.
Last week I was talking to the head of the college and discussed with her about using Steem as a way of offering courses. Instead of buying the books and paying for the course the idea would be to offer the course and the payment would be by upvoting the course material.
Here is a link to my original post that you could direct any of your friend to if they would want additional information.
At this stage I am just in the preliminary stages of discussing it with the school so it would be a short while before a strategy could be put in place to offer these courses. Personally I think that it would be an interesting exercise - people being able to take courses which would be paid by STEEM.
Please forward the link to anyone that you know who might want to take a course in this fashion.
